About me

Zoe is a passionate Zoology graduate with a strong commitment to animal welfare and hands-on experience in animal care roles. Currently working as a dog walker, she previously held positions at Labcorp Drug Development, where she progressed from Animal Technician II to Animal Technologist I and II. In these roles, she demonstrated leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication, contributing to animal welfare assessments and team management. Her academic background includes a First Class Honours degree in Zoology from Bangor University, where she conducted research on the Zanzibar red colobus. Zoe’s skill set includes a solid understanding of Good Laboratory Practice and the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act, as well as experience in behavioral data collection and team collaboration. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her dogs, and has a keen interest in botany, showcasing her dedication to both animals and nature.
