About me

Hemed Mwandaro is a classically trained culinary professional from Zanzibar, Tanzania. He is currently employed as a Head Chef at Alladin Boutique Beach Hotel & Spa since December 2021. Before this, he worked as an Assistant Chef at Zanzibar White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa from January 2018 to December 2021. His previous employment was at The Residence Zanzibar by Cenizaro Group as a Chef Depatie Salad & Hot Kitchen from April 2014 to December 2018. His culinary skills include dish preparation, kitchen utensil expertise, and special events planning. He graduated from the Zanzibar Institute of Tourism Development with a Diploma of Tourism, Food Production & Hotel Management in 2014. He also completed training in Kitchen Operation, HACCP & Hygiene for Food Handlers, Firefighting Courses, and Computer Courses.
