He has overseen multiple hotel kitchens, implementing new systems, changing menus, and controlling food costs. His responsibilities also included supervising staff, planning menus, budgeting, and maintaining hygiene standards. Mohamed holds certifications in food and hygiene, basic fire training, and food production from the Zanzibar Institute of Tourism Development and Nagoya Fire Protection Services Limited. His hobbies include reading, writing, painting, cooking, and sports. He is multi-lingual, adaptable and possesses excellent communication skills.
