About me

Abdalla is an experienced culinary professional with a strong background in kitchen management and innovative food presentation. He has a proven track record in developing recipes tailored to complex dietary needs and is dedicated to adhering to safe cooking and food storage guidelines. His expertise extends to teaching kitchen staff about nutrition and dietary issues, as well as managing inventory and food ordering to maintain stock levels. Currently serving as Chef de Partie at Zanzibar White Sand Villas & Spa since December 2015, Abdalla has previously worked in various roles, including Commis at Melia Zanzibar and Maruhub Beach Villas. He holds a certificate in Food Production from Utalii College, along with additional training in fire fighting and supervisory studies. Fluent in English and Swahili, with beginner skills in Spanish and Hindi, he excels in menu planning, budgeting, and cost control.
