Stefano is a seasoned General Manager and culinary expert with over 20 years of hospitality management experience across three continents and six countries. He has extensive expertise in sea-front resort management, having spent seven years managing resorts in Tanzania. His background includes a Master’s in Hotel Management, along with studies in Italy, the USA, and Switzerland. Stefano is fluent in Italian, English, and Russian, with sufficient knowledge of French and basic Swahili.
He has held senior leadership roles in multiple 4- and 5-star properties, including Azure Boutique Resort (Tanzania), Landmark Mbezi Beach Resort (Tanzania), Hotel Asia (Russia), Avenue Park Hotel (Uzbekistan), and Hauza Beach Resort (Egypt). His skills include staff training and motivation, financial management, guest service excellence, and problem prevention.
A published author, he has written the largest existing hotel dictionary and manual. Additionally, he is a certified culinary expert with two prestigious Italian cookery diplomas and holds multiple certifications in HACCP, fire safety, and hygiene. His extensive network includes connections with 42 Italian tour operators serving Zanzibar. Stefano is highly dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate about service excellence, making him a strong leader in the hospitality industry.
