About me

Maureen is an experienced Executive Housekeeper with over a decade of experience in the industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ecotourism, Hotel & Inst. Management and has certificates in Management Development Programme and in Housekeeping and Laundry Operations from Kenya Utalii College. She’s skilled in housekeeping and laundry operations, interior design, floral arrangement, and staff development and training. Notably, she managed the pre-opening and opening of hotels with expertise in budget management and stock control. She’s currently employed as the Executive Housekeeper at Sun N Sand Beach Resort, Kikambala. Her achievements include reducing costs, enhancing guest satisfaction, and effectively managing projects, among others. She has also attended several training programs relevant to her field and actively pursued further skill development.
