Vedastus Willy Mwakapangala is a senior professional in the hospitality industry with over 18 years of experience. His expertise spans travel operation and management, hotels operation and management, and digital marketing. He has held roles at various organisations including Abercombie & Kent Travel, Sopa Lodges Tanzania, Grumeti Expeditions & Lemala Luxury Camps Tanzania, Kopjes Expedition Tanzania, Elewana Collection, Wildlife Expedition Tanzania, and currently at Wellworth Hotels Collection. Mwakapangala’s key responsibilities have included hotel and camp management, guest relations, budget planning, sales and marketing, and staff training. He also possesses digital skills such as Google Adwords management, online travel agent platform management, and property management system familiarity. He holds an Advanced Diploma of Business Administration from the College of Business Education and a Diploma from the Institute of Information Technology.
