Group Reservations Manager

Position Overview

Our client, a prominent hospitality group operating multiple resorts in Zanzibar, is seeking a skilled Reservations Officer to efficiently manage daily hotel bookings and guest communications. Key Requirements

• Must be a Tanzanian national.
• At least 2 years' experience in hotel reservations or a related hospitality role.
• Possess a Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with the eZee PMS system is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of online travel agencies (OTAs), distribution systems, and tour operators.
• Capability to manage reservations, booking changes, cancellations, guest inquiries, and special requests efficiently.
• Good understanding of room availability, rate management, and online distribution channels.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to reside on-site at properties located in Nungwi or Kendwa.
• Immediate availability to start.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily reservations across three resort locations.
• Handle bookings received directly and via OTAs, tour operators, and other distribution channels.
• Monitor room availability, rates, and ensure booking accuracy.
• Coordinate with hotel management and front office for smooth operations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest and travel partner inquiries.
• Support revenue optimization by maintaining accurate rates and availability across distribution platforms.
