LAUNDRY MANAGER

Position: Laundry Manager

Our client, a prominent hospitality group in Zanzibar, is seeking an experienced Laundry Manager to lead their laundry and tailoring operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, safety, and cost control across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily laundry and tailoring operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Lead, train, and manage dedicated laundry and tailoring teams.
• Uphold quality standards, boost productivity, and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules, inventory control, and departmental budgeting.
• Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to meet service excellence.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in laundry management, ideally within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of laundry machinery, chemicals, maintenance practices, and tailoring processes.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills with problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in computer use including Microsoft Office and ordering systems.
